By now I hope you will have read
and seen enough to proceed to the next stage and contact me to discuss your requirements.
For your part,
it would be useful if you had a general idea of the style and sizes of your commission. This will give a good foundation from which we can work together to create something which will give you
satisfaction for years to come. It is also helpful if you have a budget to which we need to work. This will save any wasted time in designing something which breaks the
bank!
After our
initial discussions I will provide an estimate free of charge. If you are happy with the estimate, then my terms of business are as follows:
10% deposit on order - this secures a production spot in my diary
30% deposit 6 weeks before commencement of manufacture
60% balance on delivery
These are my normal terms. If material costs for your particular commission are high, I may ask for a larger deposit.
Lead times can
vary; anything from 2 weeks for a small commission which can be slotted into a free day in the diary, through to longer for a full kitchen. I will provide you with an idea of timescales at our
initial meeting.
So take the first step and get in touch and we can begin discussing and exploring your new project together.
